| 79. A woman from the multitude
said to Him, "Blessed are the womb which
bore thee and the breasts which nourished
thee." He said to her, "Blessed are those who have heard the word of the Father and have truly kept it. For there will be days when ye will say, `Blessed are the womb which has not conceived and breasts which have not given milk.'" |
Lk 11:27,28 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, "Blessed are the womb that bare thee and the paps which thou hast sucked." But he said, "Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it." |
