will hear in your ear, preach it from
your housetops in your other ear. For
no one lighteth a lamp that he may put
it under a bushel, nor that he may put
it in a hidden place, but rather that he
may set it upon a lampstand so that
every one that entereth in and leaveth
may see its light.”

brought to be put under a bushel, or
under a bed? and not to be set on a
candlestick?”
Lk 8:16 (Cf. Mt 5:15) “No man,
when he hath lighted a
candle, covereth it with a vessel, or
putteth it under a bed; but setteth it
on a candlestick, that they which enter
