Chapter I — PAST

Once upon a time on September 19th 1969 a child was born at the LDS Hospital [in Salt Lake City]. His name was Geoffrey Allen Despain. As he was growing, he was having a good life until he started school, Wasatch Elementary by name. When he found out it wasn’t so bad, he went back to having a good life.

When he was abut five or so, he was going down a steep hill on his tricycle. He was going fast and couldn’t stop. The only way he knew to stop was to crash, so he turned, rolled a few times and blanked out. When he woke up, he had a big hole in his head. When he woke up, he saw a man by his side doing something. I don’t quite know what he was doing, but he was doing something to help. (I can’t remember any more about what happened.)

Chapter II — PRESENT

Now he is thirteen years old. He just had a birthday. He goes to Bryant Intermediate School on Eighth East and South Temple [Street] and is in the eighth grade. He has two art classes. He just got tested out of D & D (Dungeons and Dragons). He just got started, so he isn’t very good because he has never played it before in his life.

He doesn’t have many friends, but the ones he does have are good friends. They are: Thom, Terry, and Sean. Something strange about this is that they all live up at Fort Douglas. His favorite foods right now are McDonalds Big Macs, French fries and everything else (and every place else).

Chapter III — FUTURE

When he gets older, he wants to become the best football player. He’s really very good at playing all positions, but he wants to play wide receiver, safety for the Dallas Cowboys. One of the reasons he wants to be a pro football player is for the money and excitement and travel all over the world.
