Memorable Sacrament Meetings

On Sunday the 3rd of February, I had to work at six o’clock in the morning and was able to get off at about 2:30 p.m. Then, since no one was home, I walked home. I was very tired when I got home. I grabbed my sports coat and left for church. I got there in time for Sacrament Meeting and needless to say I was very tired. I might have fallen asleep a few times. Then the time for testimonies came and no one would stand up and say anything. So I jumped up and went up to the stand. My heart was pounding 100 times a minute and very heavy. Then, as I started to talk a little, I became very relaxed and expressed some of my feelings, especially about how grateful I was for the atonement. And, one thing that really sticks out in my mind is, I said I knew that God lives and knows each of us and is there to help us with what we need. And, I guess that’s basically exactly what I need to hear form myself at that time.

One of the most memorable Sacrament Meetings was when I went to Australia. My first meeting there the only thing I really remember was the noise; it was just like home.

Also, all of us missionaries had a Sacrament meeting together and the Spirit during the Sacrament was indescribable; it was great.
